Just got this in yesterday from Alaska. It is a 4 inch blade with sealed tsukamaki over lightning strike carbon fiber finished off with an artifact fossilized walrus ivory pommel. The blade is a very high count random pattern damascus slicing machine....wicked toothy sharp. It fits perfectly in my hand and has a great old world/new school energy attached to it that keeps me from being able to put it down.

Really pleased with this purchase. Thanks David.

The artifact ivory and carbon fiber are nice touches.
Congrats on a very nice cutter.

Sweet
Congrats :)

What were the steels used to make the damascus?

I had requested a blade shape similar to the one John Sharp requested. It is a really practical manueverable spearpoint style blade. I've had I on my belt since I've had it. Love it.

You can tell a Mirabile knife from 1/2 mile away, and that is a great attribute, imo.

I currently own two Mirabile knives and wouldn't trade them for anything.

Bumping this one a little as it just hit page 2 and it's David's birthday.

Have a great Birthday, David, and many more. :)
