.... as in blue dyed curly maple! Received another Alan Davis custom today. Goes without saying that this is another excellent example of Alan's work. Currently have 14 of Alan's knives and each one is an outstanding custom creation. Here are some pics of the latest:

And, here is a group shot of all my Davis knives, to date:

WOW! Great collection but do any of them ever see daylight or the inside of a pocket or simple lay coddled in a drawer?

I have 3 of Alans fixed blades and all are well used. A folder is yet to come.

Love the Alan Davis collection!! I have one of his folders so far! Hopefully more to come! It's spent many a day in my pocket and seen plenty of action!

Thanks .... wasn't quite sure how I would feel about so much blue .... but it only took one look to really like it. Then again, I love all of Alan's creations.

Oh yes .... all of his except 2nd and 3rd lower left get pocket time .... and the desk knife .... desk time! The second one was a special order he made for me and the third one was the first Timascus framelock he made. Those two are too special to carry (for now). The small mammoth/mokume top center is on me every day. Best little gent's folder I own. A real beauty.

That is an amazing collection! I alwasy wonder where knives like that will be in 300 years.
