Kershaw Needs Work 1820

Went and bought this little guy at BiMart today for $38.99. I could have got it online for a few bucks cheaper ( after shipping ) but decided I wanted it today.

I haven't had it to play around with for more than an hour though, so I can't really say much about it. It's definitely the sharpest knife I've ever had out of the box though, shaves and cuts up receipt paper like a dream, but the tip is a little dull when it comes to some things. Not sure if I'll sharpen it now or wait until it dulls because in some parts it's actually a little sharper than what I usually get off of my 1K stone. Does anyone know what angle it's ground in at? Looks like they have a micro bevel on it, and the manual says either 18 or 22 degrees, but it doesn't specify which.

Anyway, It's a nice little knife for sure. The speed-safe assisted opening is pretty slick, but I'm not quite a fan of the liner-lock. Mostly because I keep my thumbnails pretty long ( they're useful, I don't know why people insist on grooming away useful features ) and so it's a little tricky for me to engage it as has a very low profile with the rest of the handle. Though for normal folks I suppose that's a good thing.

The handle is a bit small for my hands, but it still fits well in three fingers, my pinky is just left kind of hanging loose. Doesn't feel awkward at all though, I kind of like it. The clip is definitely too hard to clip on to things easily, though I had heard that was a problem, so I just plan on bending it a little bit to make it better.

Otherwise it seems like it's going to be a great knife. I love the blade style, and the tip is so tiny, I'm not sure exactly what I'll use this knife for, but I just decided I had to have it.
