So I see this post on Instagram. Most BFers would immediately know the origin of this maker, but I asked where in Pakistan were the knives made. I was just trolling him, but he named a village in Pakistan. BulIseye. I don't know how to grab the photo so here is a link:

Not sure I understand the point of your post?

Was he trying to say his knives weren't made in Pakistan?

Or are you just showing us another example of one of the 5,309,247,813,080,206,774,131,014 knives that are made in Pakistan every day?

shane45-1911 shane45-1911 He's trying to show that, unexpectedly, the guy was totally honest and upfront, provided a name of village in Pakistan and all. I have seen some sellers do this, just trying to be totally transparent and honest even if what they're selling is garbage. Usually, these guys tend to lie and obfuscate, you know, "finest damascus" etc. My fiance works at a major thrift store with an online division, and they sold a CLEAR Pakimascus that you would charge me 20 dollars to take off my hands, was selling for over $450 with 40 bidders.

Observing ignorance like this can test one's morality.

Yes, that was my point. And his post was well-photographed and you could see where non-knife people might be attracted to his wares. And if you go to his profile, there is no mention of country of origin. Of course, non-knife people probably have no idea of the poor quality of Paki knives (in general). So he may sell a lot off his Insta channel.
