Hi All,

I'm new to the forum but I've been reading quite a bit. I live just outside of KCMO and I just ordered my first 2x72 belt grinder (i've been getting by with a 4x24 harbor freight unit).

Here are two knives I did 100% on my own after working under another smith to learn what to do. I sold both of them before they were complete so I guess I did ok. let me know what you think, I appreciate critical comments as I can't fix what I don't know is broken. ;)

Here's one I did just to do some file work practice. After I was done I gave it to a friend.

Here's a little trailing point I made for my nephew.

welcome to the forum! there is an incredible amount of knowledge and talent around here, so there will be plenty of guys come along and give you kind words and positive feedback. good to see another KC guy here!

Well you hit the ground running for sure!

There are little things on your finish, but it comes with practice. If you're like most you will be your own worst critic. :)
