Howdy folks, just got my first Emerson knife.

To be real honest with you guys im not a tanto fan, not a chisel grind fan and for sure not a fan of any serrations.
But over the years of working up my small collection of knives emersons grew on my. In baby steps. And one day
it just hit me I have to own an emerson. I will use it as one of my service knives to beat the shit out of.

So i thought to my self, hell I might aswell go all in. It had to be a 7 for my first one so EMERSON CQC-7BW-SFS

I half expected it to be a project knife, something that I had to tinker with to get it the way I wanted it. But it was nice out of box.
Took it apart cleaned it put it together and locktighted all the scews after playing with it nonstop for the first day. Now. Ready for
service and im very happy with it. Bad ass.

Congrats, Nyddde! That will make a fine user. But I am certain that it won't be your last Emerson. ;)

Congrats on your first Emerson!
I keep hearing great things about the 7 and may have to pick one up myself.

Great photography also.
Peace.

I'm finding it near impossible to remove the screws from my Emerson to center the blade. How much force did you have to use? I mean, the paint from one of my screws is nearly worn off (though the screw itself hasn't been stripped) and it ain't even budged.
