went up to buy my second benchmade from kittery trading post (i wanted a 710 mchenry) but i fell in love with the mini griptilian 556. 154cm straight blade, black valox handle, 420j stainless liners.

i think the overall feel of it reminds me of my first love ken onion scallion, except 20x nicer.

carrying it for a day, i already want another one. i went on benchmades site and you can custom build them!! the only downside is that they are about 115 bucks before shipping, and of course id want the s30v steel which bumps it up to 135, i think too much for a mini grip.

anyways heres some pics of it, the thing locks up super solid, and WOW LOOK HOW PERFECT THE LOGO IS! haha Wink

I love my mini grip I have the yellow one.
I modded mine a bit by smothing out the texture under the pocket clip and lightly sanding the other side so the texture is still "sticky" but not "pointeye".
 
Congrats on your new and awesome Mini-Grip. Hope you enjoy using it, the Axis lock is so much fun.

I really want to get my own customized Griptilian off their website, but the price makes me think twice. Even though this way I get the Grip I want, I still have to pay a bit more than retail, but I guess that's a decent tradeoff.
 
The 556, kinda partial to them myself:D The top one is a 555, but close enough to make the point.
 
Congrats on your purchase! You now own one of the best small folders made, IMO.
