Hello all, I got the INFI bug about a month ago. Well after the Indy 1500 today and the NMFSH that should arrive tomorrow will put me at 5 yes 5 in one month.

Here is the question I bought a Busse Muk today at the show and the edge looks like it might be convex. Now I own a wicked edge and I have no idea how to sharpen a convex edge. Did any Busse come from the factory with a convex edge?

My SHBM, SHSHII, and SHBA came with an asymmetrical grind, which is flat on one side and convex on the other.

Nice scores!
All of the Busse HOG Muk LE's were offered with factory convexed edges. :)

No worries. You can either use the many resources of the web to learn convex sharpening, or use your Wicked Edge to change the primary grind of that Muk to a V edge. It's your knife; do what is right for you.

My Hog Muk LE has a wicked sharp convex edge. I mostly just touch it up on a leather strop, and sometimes strop it with a ceramic rod.

Thanks guy's.

This one is not as sharp as I would like. I believe I am going to try and get the convex edge sharp and maintain it with a strop.

That is quite a bit of INFI in a rather short amount of time! Congrats on all the scores! You sir have definitely gotten bit by the INFI bug.

Yes it is, and it all started with a score on a pork shank. Then well if I get a TGLB that would be all I need. "Yeah Right".

Hopefully I am done for awhile..............
