Thinking about the purchase of a dragonfly2 for lite carry in shirt pockets. I'm not at all familiar w/this model. The Salt version has caught my eye and I would like to get consensus on this model for both lite EDC carry as well as use on trout streams / fly fishing applications.

How does the H1blade steel hold up for general lite EDC use?

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Performance wise, the serrated version is class leading and the plain edge is mediocre.

Kind of funny that the PE is so bad on the Salt models... I was actually considering getting a Delica Salt with the plain edge as an EDC/utility knife, as I figured it'd be easier to sharpen. Oh well, maybe a VG-10 will have enough corrosion resistance...

Pe h1 is very easy to sharpen and will take a vey fine edge, but edge retention is less than stellar. As much as I love the salts, if I wanted pe and wasn't going to be in highly corrosive environments I would grab the vg10 version.
