New knife recommendation...

I'm looking for recommendations on a new folder. Something in the BM Adamas, Spyderco Military, or ZT 0200 size range. I've got those three, and many others, but I tend to grab one in that size range most often. Needs to be $150 or less unfortunately, but I could hold out and save more for the right knife I suppose. Either way, I'm definitely looking for a good value no matter the price range. I'm not too terribly picky on brands, but not a big fan of CRKT(eh) or SOG(every one I've handled had blade play).

So let's see what y'all can come up with! I'll even send the poster of the winning suggestion a small prize(maybe my trusty ol' Leek or something) as a thank you!

^^considered it a while back, but it just didn't do it for me like the Millie or the Adamas. Thanks though!

Maybe something like the ZT 0550, 0350, Cold Steel Recon 1, or Hogue EX01 would fit the bill?

^^love BM's, but I didn't care for the narrow blade on the 710. I have a knife shop less than 100yds from my house and I've handled the 710 several times due to the popularity of it, but never pulled the trigger on one because I prefer wider blade like on the Adamas or the 0200.

And for those that will suggest finding something at the shop near me.., I've handled everything they have at one point or another and haven't found a new one in that range that appeals to me yet. Also, they have a fairly limited selection, so I'm having trouble coming up with what to get next.

Perhaps regular or super sized Emerson? 8 10 Commander whichever looks the sweetest.

ZT 0550, out of my price range by a tad. If I was going to spend $200 I'd save the other $60 and get the 0560 which is my grail right now
ZT 0350, had one but traded it.., don't care for recurves(even though the ZT 0200 was too nice to get rid of)
Recon 1, almost bought one, but felt like my hand was too far from the cutting edge
Hogue EX01, handled one but not my cup o' tea
BM810, handled one but didn't care for the oversized finger choil thingy
Emerson knives, like 'em but don't care for chisel grinds

damn I'm picky!! :p :p

Awesome suggestions though guys., keep 'em coming!

Junkyard Dog 2 is pretty close in size to the 0200. Similar handle contours too. Manual flipper & composite blade (CPM-D2 cutting edge).

Cyclone is also pretty nice. Not quite as large as the 0200, but bigger than a 0350. They're discontinued, but not especially difficult to find.

Got one! I've got the old school one before Kershaw updated the shape of the composite edge.., Gen. 1 I suppose it'd be called. One of the few I doubt I'd ever be willing to trade or sell.

To avoid any further issues, here's a pic of the majority of what I have. This picture was taken several months ago though, and there's been about 20+ additions since then...

Updated photo below.., sorry for the crappy quality but the wife doesn't like to keep the camera charged evidently...

I don't see a Paramilitary 2 in there and if you like the Millie you really should get one of those, although they can be tricky to hunt down. The answer to your question though is steel your patience and get that grail knife. The ZT 560 really is as good as everything they say.

Oz, at this point I think I'm leaning in the direction of saving up for the 0560. I've been looking for a while, and haven't found anything else that screams "buy me" like the 0560.

they are amazing and if you do get it there are so many options for custom scales :) you can really make it your own.
