New Knife seasons?

For a while I was looking at knife sites and nothing was really catching my eye...suddenly it seems like there are a lot of new designs and knives from all the makers at all the sites. I'm counting my pennies and I cant afford everything Id like to get so I'm bouncing around trying to decide which "one" for now.

Is there like a season that the makers hold out for, is it timmed to certain shows/expos? I'd like to know so I can plan to have more disposable cash for the next season of hot stuff!

A lot of companies unveil new products at the SHOT and BLADE shows.
