Let me begin this with telling the forum that this website has been really helpful but I can see it causing the pockets to become empty lol. I received my Spyderco PPT today. This is my first higher end production knife. I have always looked at a knife as a knife until I held this for the first time! Fit and finish is amazing on this knife! Shout out to New Graham for the excellent and fast customer service on the blade! This knife will now replace my 20 dollar plastic kershaw! Now wondering what is going to be my next purchase? Oo and this knife is built like a tank...

Congratulations and enjoy!

I wish I could find more user comments on this great-looking folder.

Early comments noted blade play on a pass-around PPT and some wobble on the clip, both hopefully taken care of by now.

Any signs of such issues?

If you like the ppt try a spyderco para 2 next . Feels great built tough and reasonable price for the standard para 2.

Absolutely no blade play nor clip wobble! Seeing how there is only a screw holding the clip on I am going to blue loctite it this weekend!

PPT's are a great knife. Get some good lube. I would suggest quick release. And that baby will be really smooth!

Spyderco is a great brand to begin with. Not too pricey, have a varied selection of products and are good quality knives. Try the Manix 2, Para and/or Military, Police, Endura, Gayle Bradley and whatever else others suit your fancy. You can find them all here on the Exchange for good prices.

Yea i can see me ordering another real soon! Have a gun show coming to town soon and they usually always have a wonderful knife selection. So im sure i will bring one home if not two lol

I used to have a PPT and it's an incredible value for the knife. It really feels and looks like it's worth twice what it costs. I wish I had not sold it (an ill-advised sell off from several months ago). It's a very unique design - a little on the heavy side. If you like Spyderco's atypical designs, take a look at the Vallotton. I might pick one of those up next month.

Yes, the frame lock and G-10 handle hybrid is simply gorgeous. The PPT is one of the smoothest knife i've ever handled too.

The PPT and the Kershaw Spec Bump are the only knives I've ever bought a second of just in case I loose one. And if someone put a gun to my head and said I had to give them all my knives but one and that was the only one I'd ever have again, it would be the PPT. The fit and finish on both PPTs was excellent and the only variation I've seen between the two is a slight grind angle, but both came very sharp.
