I went to the Denver PKA custom knife show this weekend. Lot of knives to look at,
I had a good conversation with Greg Steketee, STEK knives, and ended up buying a knife from him. 1095, hardened, differentially tempered, he said about a rockwell 58. What I liked, is that he explained what steps he took to build this knife.
There was a slight burr on the edge, but my Sharpmaker took care of that.
Knife feels good in the hand, light, 3 inch blade, a little shorter than I would like, the sheath doesn't work so good, I'm already looking for new leather.
Now I just gotta use it to see
