just picked up a pelican 1330 case for my knives. love it. deep enough to fit bigger knives and just kinda cool lol:D

I love Pelican cases. I have 5 or 6 lying around in different sizes for different things. The nice thing about them is that they will still be around long after I'm gone!
 
Just curious: I am a professional photgrapher and use a variety padded cases to protect photo gear when I have to travel. Why do you need that kind of protection for your blades?
 
Looks good, but I would need about 35 of those to get my collection under control. ;)

My guess would be that the cases are not product specific, and desireable as they might be for professionals, they are also desireable for collertors of guns, knives, etc.

yup thats it. i like the cases very much cool to store anything of value
