I am looking for a new knife to purchase.

The specs on this knife are
Blade length around 3.25".
Handle G-10, aluminum, titanium, or carbon fiber, not really that important.
Lock is not really that important either.

I posted a question about a week ago about the Benchmade mini-AFCK and this is the knife that I am leaning towards. I wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations along the same lines as the mini-AFCK. This knife is going to be an EDC and used hard. I am also looking to keep this purchase under $75.00, I have owned a couple of expensive knives and I am looking to keep the cost down on this one. Please let me know what you guys think.

Kershaw Avalanche! Best practical knife I know.
Also you may have a look:
CRTK Apache II (check A.G.Russel)
D2 Griptilian (plastic handle) from Cabela's.
CRKT M16 Carbonfiber handle - bestknives.com
Spyderco Native I or III
all less then $75.
Thanks, Vassili.

Spydercos Delica or Native.
The edge on both can be plain or serrated, and there are lots of handle materials to choose from, SS, FRN and Carbon Fiber.

Andre Tiba

I actually broke one of my stipulations and I just purchased a new Benchmade 943, paying more than the $75.00 cap that I set for myself. I wanted to go with a Benchmade and I figured that the 943 was a little better knife than the 814 mini-AFCK. Blade is a little longer and they are both made of 154CM but the AXIS lock was the big deciding factor. I had a 943 about 6 months ago and I gave it away to a friend as a gift and it is always nice to buy a knife that you have handled and know that you like, so I bought another one. Thanks to all who chimed in with an opinion.
