New Knife Throwing Game

Last night a few of us got together and devised a version of the dart game Cricket for throwing knives. We had a great time and played for hours, it's so much better than darts!!! Here's the Rules:

You throw 3 knives, everyone has to close each round by hitting each round 3 times (bulls worth 2 hits and anywhere else on it counts as 1 hit).

There is no particular order to hit, or close the rounds.

A person accumulates points by hitting rounds that he/she has closed providing that all the other players have not closed it as well. You get 10 points for a bull and 5 anywhere else.

The round cannot be scored on once everyone has hit it 3 times. The game is over all rounds are closed, the points are counted and the winner has most points.

It was awesome!!! Since the weather is getting hot we are going to have to move the setup into the basement!!!

Umm, well, I have to ask if there was any beer involved! And the board at the back doesn't seem wide enough to protect the knives, but maybe you and your friends are pretty good throwers. Enjoy!

We had a couple beers each because it was pretty hot in the garage, didn't do any real drinking though. To help protect the knives we put down a carpet and a barricade of cardboard boxes. That helps a bit but I have to devise a better way to protect the knives and the surroundings... I have the equipment to re-grind an re-shape the tips and I also have a few holes to patch in the wall. Newest on was today I started practicing a left handed tomahawk throw, stuck perfectly in the wall
