New knife to buy

Hey what's up? I originally wanted to buy a Spyderco Perrin PPT because its style is sick, I love the lock, and the Spyderhole with CPM S30V definetly appealed to me. However it has been discontinued for a couple years now. I like the Brad Southard but the hollow ground is a instant turn off for me.

Could you guys recommend some knives to me that hopefully include these features?

Spyder hole - I love using my middle finger to flick it open.
Flipper - We all love to flip :3
Higher end steel
Frame lock. However please do recommend others without.
No hollow ground blades please.
Preferably no recurves or tantos.
Thank you.

Sounds like you need a Spyderco Southard.

This is exactly what I was going to say. It is exactly what you described (despite the grind). I can't think of any others that fit your criteria. If you want flipper a spydie hole, you need to either get a custom?? or a spyderco. Since spyderco made only one flipper... well there you go.

Hmmm it's so tempting but I'd like to hold strong against hollow grinds. Do you think if I sent it somewhere to get it reground it'd be too thin?

I don't own one and never handled one but I hear that it has pretty thick blade stock. To me, that sounds like it would handle a regrind well. Maybe someone else with direct experience with this knife will be able to help.
