Just got this Neutron 2 in yesterday.
To say that I'm thrilled is an understatement.
TRM did everything right with this one.
It's definitely gonna kick my other relatively small knife; Spyderco Sage 5; out of my pocket.
And OMG, this thing is too sharp!
Simply the sharpest blade I've ever come across.
I finally know the meaning of "scary sharp"
Action is super smooth, lockup is solid, blade centered.
Can't wait to see how long the 20CV keeps its edge.

If it’s noticeably sharper than a Spyderco Sage 5 ….. I need one. Lol. I’ve had my eye on an Atom or Neutron for about a year now and you just pushed my over the edge! Isn’t there a difference in Neutron models?

My knife is the Neutron 2. The previous version is just called the Neutron.
Differences as far as I know are: the 2 has its liners in the scales so they don't show; and it has a deep cary clip.
The thing is so thin and light, it completely disappears in your pocket.

Ok. Thanks for the info. It’s been moved to the top of the list!
There's a drop of Neutron 2's coming next week. Time and date is usually a window. It will be announced in their FAQ page. Neutrons go quick (last drop went in about 10 minutes), but the site is very robust in my experience. I also picked up a Neutron in OD Green micarta last week.

Also, when you're on their FAQ page, be sure to look at the bottom for the discount code for August!

You need to post that beauty in the Mad for Micarta thread!!!!!!!
Great looking blade!!

The original Neutron had surface mounted scales, which required very thin stock, limiting their options for materials. The Atom came next, and went to pocketed scales that wrap around the liners, allowing for more commonly available stock sizes to be used. Eventually, they redid the Neutron with the same sort of pocketed scales.

Ugh I keep missing the drop for these. Lusting over the Atom more since I prefer larger blades but can never quite get the timing right.
