have not made a Japanese style handled knife in a while so Here is one for a changé!
Thé blade is a bold, very old school piece of damascus forged by bladesmith Cassio Becker and the handle is white Ray skin under a black real ito resin soaked cord wrap with two aged metal meninos depicting a shishi dog, one of my prefered menuki thème. This project was à lot of fun and I have been working on it in between other projects as time allowed me, no pressure, just to see the final result.
Let me know how you like it!

Elegant! Like the American Standard Tanto (in D3), a giveaway that I was lucky enough to get from you well over a decade ago. Plus the Scandi in 1070, the sharpest knife I have.

Its more like 20 years, bro! But yes, this knife has a lot of the style I used those days but in an overall more refined package, both in materials and design evolution.

Edited to say: it is more like 27 years! Yes, time flies!
