I have been carrying a Benchmade 707 daily for years. I have a limited edition in D2. I have beat the snot out of it.

Well, I have been wanting something a bit bigger. I was zeroing in on the Benchmade 300SN and a ZT0350. (if the ZT0566 was out I would have bought that...hands down).

After handling them both at my local gun store, I chose the Benchmade for several reasons. Most notably the pocket clip and the smooth as butter action of the 300.

I have to tell you, I have a lot of Benchmade's, and non have as smooth an action as the 300SN. I can’t stop playing with it. It’s unreal. Solid as a brick. I look forward to beating the snot out of this knife for years to come... unless the ZT0566 comes out and I am feeling naughty!

The flipper action is nice but not needed. I use and prefer the thumb stud. The flipper piece does not, however, get in the way at all. I don’t anticipate using it other than when playing with it. I am so accustom to one handed open with a thumb that I don’t even think to use the flipper action.

I will miss my 707. Funny, I almost feel as if I am betraying it. Does that make me sick?! lol

I will post pics of new and old tonight.

Congrats on your new knife. I've been eyeing the 300sn for a while now.
You can still carry the 707 every once in a while. =]
