new knife

i am looking for a new knife and right now i feel like getting some cheap knives. i would like them to be under $10 each and they dont need to be great knives, just capable of cutting a string here and there. i love the feeling of opening a little box and taking a cool little knife out of the plastic sleeve. also i would like it to look reasonably good.

You can only sell things in the Exchange, and you must be at least a gold member to sell things.

Other than that, you aren't going to get much for $30 if you want multiple knives. I'd suggest a Kershaw Cryo.

i should have been clearer, i have plenty of good knives i am looking for cheap knives just for fun because i have $30 to blow and i havent blown any money for years. i have seen some things like opinels, douk-douks, higo no kamis, and kissing crane that seem to be what i am looking for so does anybody know of knives similar to those
 
also its not a big deal that i am selling it just a sidenote if by chance somone was looking for a cheap ignitor

No. It is a big deal. We have rules here that everyone who wishes to participate here abides by. :mad: Selling involves a proper level of membership.

You can list it up for trade free of charge if you'd like, but if you want to sell it, you must upgrade to be a gold member or higher, and then you may post a thread in the knife exchange.
 
i apologize i did not read the rules carefully enough, am i allowed to ask for a trade on this thread? if so i will trade my CRKT for $25 to $30 of rough rider slip joints, opinels, or douk douks. if not i will buy $25 to $30 of rough rider slip joints, opinels, and douk douks

Not to pile on, but there is a separate forum for trades. And you should not list the trade value. I'd suggest a good description of the knife you want to trade, including defects, and state exactly what you might be interested in. Open-ended requests are kind of difficult to respond to, though your naming of brands is a help. A picture of your knife would help also.

Yes, it is a big deal. I just gave you a warning explaining this. You're new here but you do have to follow the rules, not tell US what is or isn't a big deal.
