New Knife

My son, (2nd Lt. USMC) gave me this knife last week.

I'll use it when my wife and I go camping, but I can't seem to find a comfortable way to strap it on. Any suggestions?

Paracord through the holes, webbing through the slots. The real indicator is the buckle at top, which indicates a low ride carry off the belt with a web strap. What we can't see is whether a web loop exists that allows a belt to slide through.

Tactical sheaths are designed so much for MOLLE use that regular belt carry is sometimes sacrificed.

There are folks here that can make you a new leather sheath (K.V. Collucci or Lifter4Him) or kydex sheath (Normark), that could be made to suit your needs to a "T". You could do a search for them or maybe they will chime in here.
