I posted this elsewhere on BFc, but was told that you fellas here might enjoy seeing it too: here it is.

since I can't post in the custom gallery unless i pay for a gold account I figured it may be appriciated here. I finished this one a couple days ago. It is L6 steel, matched curly ash burl scales with brass pins and lanyard hole, mirror polished blade. 3 1/4" blade 4" handle, feels really good. Gonna sharpen it up and get to making a sheath pretty soon.

I don't know if I've seen curly ash before, but I sure like it. It looks great the way the flat is unpolished, and the bevels are mirrored.

You have made a very pretty knife that looks like it will earn its keep -

I love the shape. Very pretty and same time looks like something that could handle everyday use. I realy do like it. Very good job.

   I'd take your word for it! There is nothing NOT to like with a handy, woods- walking knife like that! May she serve you well!

Outstanding! I like the handle to blade ratio and the shape of the blade. The curly ash is a new one on me too, and I've worked with hundreds of board feet of it (ash). I've never seen a piece of curly quite that nice.
