Today I made a trip to my favorite local knife guy. I made the trip with intentions of getting a new GEC. I looked at them but the case counter kept callin my name. After 30 mins of lookin at cases I saw it. A large boker stockman. It has awesome wood scales and the best fit and finish on a German boker I've seen in a long time. It's in my pocket now and can't wait to use it.

Boker can put together some awesome knives, and that's a fact. I like the steel they put out too, very good stuff.

That new knife I bought has beer barrel handles. I ain't been keepn up with boker lately so I found out that's what they was. Apparently they are real popular and I got a real deal.

My first stockman was a Large Boker 7474Y, great knife takes a great smooth edge, great working mans knife it's held up after 6 going on 7 years of hard use work in the construction trades and outdoor fun.

My dad carried a redbone boker trapper for bout 15 years everyday till the blades was gone and one of the back springs broke. For the abuse he put it through I say he got his money worth.

I love the beer barrel handles, congrats on your new Boker

I bought the beer barrel whittler and am very happy with it. Boker is a brand I vaguely remembered from when I was a kid a long time ago, when I got back into knives one of the first big purchases I made was a Boker Camp knife with chestnut handles. It's a beauty.

FarmKid how is that Boker treating you? Your dad can probably have his blades replaced, Bokers have lifetime warranty.

Congrats! I have 2 of the Beer Barrel Whittlers, and like it very well.

I've always had a soft spot for Boker traditionals, as my Papaw gave me a Boker Barlow many years ago.

My dads birthday is comin up on July 4th and he's carrying a case humpback stockman in harvest orange handles. I'm goin to give him this boker for his birthday.
