hey guys i want to buy another knife, but this time i want to switch things up and i really want a tanto blade(preferably black)
anyone got any good suggestions ~40-50 dollar? lower than that would be fine.

+1 to the Recon. There aren't that many tanto point blades (at least, not folders) in the OP's stated price range, and the Recon has a reputation as a good value for the money.

A couple online retailers have tanto mini griptilians that are about $60 to $65 after a 25% discount. I'm not sure if I can mention them though.

At that price point, definitely a CS Recon 1 (although it's a bit more) or a tanto Voyager.
