new knife?

The Hest is more everyday carry friendly with it weighting almost half as much as the Adamas so I go with the DPX.

I loved my Adamas but just couldn't carry it and had no use for it so I sold it. Funominal quality for the price tho!
 
DPX all day. Don't get me wrong- if I had to take a folder into Hell to stick Satan it would be the Adamas. But it's a damn tank, and not in a pocket friendly way. It's big, it's thick and it's heavy. I can't stand a fat knife in the pocket. The DPX is not a small knife, but it feels smaller than in is in the pocket. I've owned both and if I were to buy another of the 2 it would be the DPX.
 
+1 for the Benchmade Adamas....I love big beefy knives. Can't go wrong either way, better yet buy both.
 
Had both. Very tough call. They were very good knives but...they were both replaced with yet another Spyderco Paramilitary 2 and my favorite EDC, the full size Ritter griptillian. In retrospect though, if I were forced to pick one of the two, the DPX was a tad more pocket friendly.
 
Thanks everyone for your input. I guess i lied about.the knife i was going to buy. I went to a.flea market on the weekend
And i was looking.though a box and found a new model CS voyager 4 inch clip point for only 30 dollars, it had a few small
Chips on the edge but a few minutes on my honing strop and they were gone. Great things happen sometimes. Still gonna buy the
HEST this week and then i guess the Adamas next pay.
