Hello My name Is Jorge. I have been a Tool and die maker for 40 years and have collected knives most of my life. With my machine shop slowing I thought I would try knifemaking. I have made about 20 over the years for freinds and family.
Im just trying to see if can make any kind of future doing knives.
Any feed back on my work would be great. Im open to suggestions.

I have one more question. How do I post pictures?

Thanks Jorge

that thing is amazing, as mentioned the grind is terrific, is it very thick?, it looks sweet
looks like you got the picture thing sorted out its complicated.

HI Guys.
The blade is 3/16 thick. I want to go thicker on the next ones.
Im working on making some folders.

Thanks for you guys input.

I met Hamill through a mutual friend when I needed a special project done. I had him make a knife to my design that I have carried on my last few deployments. My Yarborough is my right hand but I needed something a little beefier to use for breaching, probing, EOD, etc. I gave away those chunks of steel with para-cord made by Mick and got serious with Jorge! This guy is a sleeper and it won't be long before he gets busy. After many a test drive I strongly recommend snagging a Hamill!

Very nice knife . Look forward to more pics. The handle looks a little more basic than suits my taste. Keep on grindin'!

Thank YOu guys for the feedback . I'm trying my hand at some liner lock flippers. I've never made them but I think the design will work. It works on the computer anyway. I will let you know when I get one done so I can get some feedback / advise on were to go from here.

Here are a couple more pics of what I've done witht he fixed blades

Does anyone have a good Idea for a Name for the fixed blade model?

I would purchase a knife makers membership here and post your knives in the knifemakers for sale forum. I went the Ebay route for a year or so:mad:. I think your knives look good and you will be surprised at the response you will receive here on BF.

As for a name, when I look at them "Matador" comes to mind. I don't know if you like that.

Thanks for the advice. I will sign up for that and see how it goes.

I like the name to. See if anyone else has names in mind and we can go with he best one.

Nice!
The handle is very nice.

aha. I was so focused on the crazy grindwork on the blade that I started scrolling down, read your comment, then had to go look at it again and say "Woah, it has a very nice handle, too..."
