Thanks Oregon, got the Black 560 for 60$ and it's new with no box... I got the 412. for 20$ and it look new to me... No box, But I have one for it... Both came with a sheath... ITE

You are a terrific shopper, lucky lucky lucky, bot them both from your brother or it is Christmas. When does your rare knife buying class get underway? I want to be in the front of the class.

Thanks BG, I'm a really big fan of Bucklites... I think the dot is for some type of change to the knife during that year... I'm not to sure, but someone here can tell us... DM, do you know or anyone else??? Thanks, ITE
 
Wow! great knives, I have been gunning for both of these for years. When I seem to have the extra scratch I cannot finds these knives. Enjoy them, I know I would.

Thanks SL, there's a lot of knives that I try to buy tooo... But, something always comes up... :yawn: ... Or someone out bids me... :eek: ... Or I just for get to bid... :confused: ... I hate that... :( ... I always tell myself that there are more knives out there... :) ... I just hope I have the money next time, when one of them come up on the bay... ITE

Man you come up with some good scores. Great price on both. Those scoutlites alway go for 50s-60s and above.

I just get lucky some times... Your doing really good too... I like your 560 and that 102.... and you got a great deal on them too... :thumbup: ...

Very cool, Armand. I have one of the black 560 build outs with the polished blade. I sure wish it had the black blade like your's!:thumbup:

I'm trying to remember . But the Bucklites came out in 1984-85 and the Scouts after that and no year date . Mmmm, perhaps it denotes the steel change . I've seen 500's with that as well . Just the one dot on the right side . You guys keep coming up with these odd stamped knives and I've lost all my hair over it . ;) Great find ITE and thanks for posting all those wonderful photos . Maybe an employee with an evil sense of humor just added a dot for fun once in a while......knowing all the confusion that would ensue years later.
