How much is the first one ????? :D :D :D

Ya I know it aint. Be proud you sure did well.

They're all beautiful, but especially the Mercer and the Tighe. The one you got from Brian is one of the nicest Pinnacles I've seen. Did you ask him to make that one up especially for you? He must have built it in the last couple of weeks.

The wood on the pinnacle is a California Buckeye Burl. Actually Brian didn't make it for me, I traded for it to a gentleman that lives near Vail in Eagle, Co.

It is a great piece. Brian says that the 3 bar composite damascus (a DDR creation) is not available anymore.

Just got lucky. There was a fellow knife nut that was hanging out at Rod Carter's table. He liked the mastadon MJS piece I had (it was up for sale) and was willing to trade. I said, no problem!! He also had a really nice original Howard Viele with ivory scales and ladder damascus (the same style as the CRKT copy). I tried to get him to part with it. He wouldn't for anything.

But, not a bad concillation price..
:D

With regard to the Mercer, I also traded for that. It was a 2 for 1 and I feel that I got the better end of the deal even though I only got 1 knife.

Very pretty and most ardently desirable!

Glad to see you've held yourself back there sport! ;)

Nice collection from that show, looks like keepers, everyone!

Yeah that 3-bar-composite is "TO-DIE-FOR"...and I'm not jealous at all. Gorgeous stuff Bob..., and nice of you to share! Enjoy!

I can't help it Gary. When I get to the Denver show, all that desire and emotion builds up after a year, and I just go stark raving crazy. Especially when people start throwing trades at me for knives that make other people  like 3 bar composite folders and stuff that I couldn't hope to order. I still don't know why that guy with the Viele wouldn't trade it. He really didn't like it that much  and after all it is only a knife  ..

Got real lucky this year. I just love the Denver Knife show!!!! :D
Come to think of it  I love all knife shows. I just don't have to fly to this one  .
