gotta say, I like the new knives Buck is making...

Sirus, Mantis, Pilot, the 55, new Alpha,... all very nice! Anybody have any of these?

those are nice. I especially like the Cutback and Hilo. I also want to get my hands on one of those 55's.

I got the chance to see one of the new Buck Hilos. They looked really nice, but I was shocked to see a "China" stamp on them. The quality wasn't bad and in fact I would say that fit/finish is comparable to the Kershaw Vapors, but if Buck is using 440C on these, then they are indeed the better buy.

Thanks for the link. The Sirus and Alpha Dorado look very interesting... Anyone know who has these in stock yet?

The Alpha Dorado is the one I'm liking.

I'll be looking into that one when it's available.

I believe the Knife Center has the Dorado (charcol birchwood) and the 55 in stock. The 55 is going to be one the exchange pieces when Knife Center gets my seized stuff back
