New knives from SHOT - an overview

Thanks very much. I'm real excited about the 635 and the snody wharnecliff, seeing as I can never afford a custom snody. The spydie ken onion...hmmmm....needs some tweaking....

There is a lot of new knives and new ideas! I like the idea of Boker Clip,
but I'm not sure about CRKT Merlin quick deployment sheath. Especially after reading that
With the knife in place, this can leave a small portion of the blade exposed, which might imperil a small finger, so best not to use this around curious or clingy young children if your knife is one of those that does so.

Nice shots of the Mini Mojo studlock. I didn't think the Spyker had assisted open.
The wenger evo's look cool too.

The Spyker looks cool, sort of like a Bump.
But the one I really want is the Szabofly.

That "sheath" from crkt has got to be the worst idea I've seen in a long time. :barf:

I am pretty sure that the review was wrong. I am pretty sure the Spyker is not assisted open. They also say it uses a compression lock, but I remember Sal saying that Kershaw requested a liner lock, so they used a liner lock. From the picture it looks more like a liner lock than a compression lock to my eyes  .

Thanks for the info QS I can always use more "knife porn". Looks like 2005 will be a great knife year. I want at least 2 of the new BM models and that Gerber LMF 2 ASEK version looks sweet as well.
