New knives from....Wilson Combat (the gun people)!!!

I believe Bill's son is making the knives. I read a story a few months back on it.

What I am interested in, though, are the new tactical carbines they are making.

Thanks for the link; all I'd seen before was the Model 2. I didn't realize they had a full line. If the quality is there, they don't look unreasonable to me; the sharkskin sheath looks nice.

BTW, the man who perfected the .45 pistol was Gaston Glock.

Not everyone is with you on the Glock comment.

Remember the early model problems?

Inexpensive, but there are better .45's to be had.

Getting back to the Wilson knives...to me, the model 1 is uninspired. Whoever designed that wasn't all that experienced in building a fighter.

The #2 is more interesting...some good ideas there. The #3 is a Bob Dozier clone if ever I saw one, at the exact same price, might as well get a real one.

The four is kinda cool, if you like small tacticals is a neat concept, shrinking the grip to the absolute max for concealment. Probably the most original and unique piece in the bunch.

Overall, decent stuff but mostly nothing to write home about.

Are they really hardening D2 to RC 62-64 for a knife blade? I hope not.
