Hultafors GK. Somebody very generous here shipped it to me from Sweden as an early birthday present. Thanks again!

It's basically a beefed up Mora. The edge was convexed but kind of thick so I thinned it down. The sheath locks up nicely and the handles fill the hand great.

Scrap Yard S5. Love this knife, waited over 2 months for it to ship and it was well worth it. Feels surprisingly light in the hands. And the unique mudder handles are really, really comfortable. The edge needs a little love.

Once I get a proper sheath for the S5, I'll do some testing on the both of them.

I'm so happy. :D

What up man! Great blades dude... That SY looks comfy, and the Scandi looks great.

Hope all is well bro, gimme a ring sometime.

Lucky man...My SY5 has been shipped, but is probably going through customs right now and will take another week to get here. I'm really looking forward to this Scrapyard as a down and dirty working blade for the ugly conditions (kind of what I use my RC-blades for :D). This one is between 1/8th and 3/16th thickness (so I'm guessing 5/32") making it a scrapper designed for cutting. I really like its blade shape, don't really like the ramp and would prefer a full flat grind. I can't wait to see how those muddy scales feel in the hand and have high expectations for the handle comfort.

Let is know how it works for you! Might be worth it to convex that edge.

When I first joined the scrapyard forums, I hated the mudder handles. I thought it looked funny, but after I got to handle some, I fell in love. Feels like it's made for my hands, and I'm not the only one who thinks so. Look at the pic below to see how many one member ordered!

So you got a new phone huh? ;)

The ramp and choil work surprisingly well together. I think you'll like it when you actually get to hold it. I'm comparing it to my 5/32" A-2 flatstock (getting ready to make more knives), and it's very similar in thickness. The edge came pretty thin already, but I still convexed it. Needs some more work but that'll work itself out the next sharpening.

Might be sooner then you think, I talked with Tiny yesterday and we're going to try something early next week. :D

Just a wild guess, but I think this may be the biggest private order scrapyard has ever got.
