I received a Raven-A, plain edge satin, and a LaGriffe the other day. The Raven was to be for my wife, but she doesn't like the green handles, so I had to order her one with black instead. I HATED TO DO THAT! (ha ha).
I think the Raven is going to be a great utility knife to keep handy when doing sundry work around the house, etc. I am far more impressed with the spearpoint blade than I expected to be. I really like the feel of the handle too. Not too big or too small in any one spot, at least not for my hands. Janice said the handle felt "Just right".
My only complaint: The texturing under the clip grips the pocket REALLY tight, especially on my wool duty pants, so I won't be carrying it at work.
Really, I think it is underrated. But, I have not gotten to abuse it yet either, and will let you know if I change my mind.
The LaGriffe is also for Janice. She loves it. What else needs to be said.
Now I have a Specwar-B, in addition to the new Raven, on order. Can't wait to get them.
