Those are awesome! I like the 1st the best. The handles are great, what are the first two made of?

Hey Matt! I told ya so! that first one was cool at the Puyallup show... but too tapped to do anything... thanks to ol' Nick! LOL!!!
But obviously others think it's cool, too!
Now... same size, blade shape - but with a smaller, oval guard to extend both up and down beyond the blade... like we talked!

You're gettin' closer!! :D

Guy's Thank's for the kind word's , Im glad you like , the top one is my personal favorite so far . Joe fair warning at OKA show the Temptation may get you he he .:D

You have to get better at telling us about the knives you post. I love the photos, but I would also like to know something about the knives.

Sorry about that Keith what would you like to know ?? im alway's willing to "talk shop" . i just didn't want to bore anyone with detail's . :)

I just like to know about materials and dimensions. Just that regular boring stuff, but I always find it interesting. I would also like to know a little about the construction of the handles on those top two knives.

The top knife is what i call a clip point . The steel is the same as in my other post , i took 2 year's of "Patterning" until i found this one to call my own . the dimension's are a 4 1/4 long blade,1 1/8 wide and 3 /16 thick. Knife overall is 8 1/2 . Handle is dyed and stabilized maple burl.with a corian diamond in it, Guard is from same damascus.Pin's are stainless mosaic.

Second knife is Red& Corian
Blade is mirrored D-2 3 3/4 long, 5 /32 thick, 1 1/8 wide . Bolster is nickle silver, Handle is dyed and stabilized maple burl, with a Corian diamond in the handle, all pin's are stainless,Knife overall is 7 1/2

Third knife is Cable Bowie
Blade is forged by my from a "Crane" cable the highest grade i could buy , Blade is 6 in long,1 1/2 wide , 3/16 thick, Guard is 304 stainless with a little filework, handle is heavily spalted maple burl that has been professionally stabilized.

Yeah I like that first knife the best also..., really nice work Matt. Great looking Damascus you are making also.....thanks for sharing.., and good to see you on here...
