...or at least new to me. Last week was a very good week, I was fortunate enough to have some money available from my side jobs that needed spending. Amazingly enough 2 of my must have knives showed up on the used market at the same time, an Emerson CQC7B and a Spyderco Manix.
The Emerson has not left my work clothes since I received it. The MAnix is my at home knife.
I am really amazed at how well the Manix carries, it is a really big knife. It makes my ZT0205 alsmost look small, although I never realize I am carrying it. Fantastic carry. I almost think it carries easier than my Military, is that possible?
The Emerson is quickly living up to the Emerson hype that I have been reading here on BF as well as other places. If you have never tried an Emerson I strongly suggest you pick upa "beater" or used version and try it. I could not be happier with my used special. Eventually I will be in the market for a used Commander or maybe a CQC10, I am just starting to get that itch again.
