A friends son who is also a friend took a likeing to some of my Hartsfields and decided to make his own kwaiken. He is very talented and used properly heat treated tool steel and after very thorough testing on his first blades Has made a few and this one is mine. The knife is quite substantle 6 3/4 blade total 11 3/4. Is very sharp and I love the way he wrapped the handle. He is going to make a sheath for this blade and I know with the talent he has it should be great. What do you guys think I am sure he is anxious for some feedback thanks

I really like it! Then again, I like Hartsfield and Leu knives. He has talent. Keep making them. Thanks for the pic.

He did a great job on that one. I hope he sticks with it - it looks like he has a lot of talent.

He has some very clean grinds. The handle is nicely done too. Good work.

But since he has some talent, tell him to rise to his potential and try grinding both sides. He should be able to some nice work, I think.

Very nice work! He certainly is starting very well on knifemaking.
