Just made this one. Still not happy with my riveting; but I am using a plate and hammer. I think it would improve if I invested in a better setter, which I may do.

I worked through several designs, and this one serves the knife up to my hand in a comfortable position; other shapes did not.

I really enjoy the freedom of being able to put together a functional sheath in a few minutes:)

Half the battle is getting those necessary tools together, the purchase only stings till you use the right stuff. Then you'll wonder how you did without it. :)

For the price of a movie for two and some dinner you can have the dies and add a inexpensive press and your rivets will look like these. When I broke down and got the dies and press I was amazed at the time I saved in do-overs and the quality of work was no comparison. If you are going to be working very much with kydex, do your self a favor and get the tools to do it easy. You will be amazed at the difference in your sheaths.

With different dies the press can be used to set snaps, punch holes and mash fingers.

I'll order one next time I get some kydex, I guess. I just make these for myself, but if I can mash fingers, then I need it:).

Harry, the knife on the main page of your website is glorious.

Thats a pretty desent sheath you have there. Can't wait to see what you produce when you get some better tools. BTW if you don't already have a belt sander, you should look into getting one. I've found that they really help with making the edges look so much better!
