After seeing TF's unscandi bushcrafter I just had to have one. Ray put one together very quickly.

Ray did another fabulous job and thanks to TF for tweaking the original knife. I did ask Ray not to do the thumb scallops and to polish the flats. I really like the "beauty line" where the grind stops short of full flat grind.

Now to watch the mail box for its arrival.

very nice indeed... Ray's work is top notch.. i also recently got another knife from Ray, it's very similar to this one...:) i love it..

I stopped by Ray's place on my way home from work today, and I got to take a look at this one (and a few others). It's a winner, that's for sure. I really like this design.

I really like this unScandi model. It seems like most of what I'm making these past few weeks looks pretty similar to this basic form. It started with matthewdanger's design and evolved a little.

Lovely blade. I prefer a non scandi grind as well. My favorite grind is a full or high flat grind with a fine convex edge. That little knife looks like an excellent cutter.

I really like this one. Smooth lines and excellent fit and finish. Good stuff!

All the best,

- Mike
