I got a package from Amazon, this evening. In it was a Spyderco Green Foliage Ladybug 3, and a Kershaw Asset. Both knives were exceedingly sharp and very tight, with just a smidgen of side play in the Spydie, that was easily tightened up, and none in the Kershaw. I am so very pleased with my purchases as of late. I can't see a reason to touch up the sharpness on either knife.:D

I do like he Ladybug knife, I've had one on my keys for about 4 years now. I swap it out with a different model overy once in a while. Glad you are happy with your purchase. I have no experience with the Kershaw Asset though.

Great that you were able to get a ladybug with an adjustment screw. Most have rivets. The only ladybugs that I was able to get with an adjustment pivot screw was through County.com where they were more expensive. All the other ladybugs I got had the rivets. Whoops, my mistake, I see you got the upgraded version 3. Seems the model threes have adjustable pivots and an apparently thicker blade with a larger round hole. You got a great knife.

will i agree tha the stock grind on the ladybug3 is ok, its just that... OK

It could use a slight touchup and polish and strop. who knows, you might wanna shave your face and the stock edge wont do it that well.

It's always great when your new knives turn out to be every bit as good as you hoped they would . Congrats ! I have an older Ladybug that is in my pocket at all times as a small backup to my main EDC , my Izula .
