I ordered this knife a few months ago from Lamont and I just went down and picked it up this past Sunday (Lamont lives about 20 miles from me :D ) basically he had a smaller version of this knife and I asked him to upsize it for me. Originally was supposed to made with 3/16th" steel but when Lamont ground out the design he decided it would look better made out of 1/4" stock (at no extra cost to me :D ) and WOW! Was he right! I don't know the exact measurements I forget to measure it maybe Lamont will chime in. Just an amazing knife to hold, it does not feel like a 1/4" thick steel knife it feels very light and fast. 1/4" ATS34 steel, beadblasted finish. The swedge is unsharpened but I may take it back down to him to have him sharpen it I haven't decided. Black canvas micarta removable scales, torx bolts holding them on. Heavy duty black leather sheath with sharpening stone pouch and thigh tie down. Can't even say how tickled I am at how this turned out!

I vote for the sharpened swedge. Has a Randallesque look to it, nice score
