If pressed, I am sure I could find some W&SS justification for my new Langsax. I mean it sorta, kinda looks like a machete, and it IS razor sharp. 
Kevin The Professor, one of the guys posting over in the Makers area, made this for me. 350 layers of 1080 and 15n20, hand forged. The blade is 22 inches long, .25 thick. The handle and sheath are from the same piece of Walnut.
This is one beautiful, (and if we are invaded by Zombies), and functional blade.
