New Large Sebenza 21 Arrived

Well UPS just ran, and dropped me a little package today.
I got a new Large Sebenza 21 with Micarta inlays and S35VN,
I think this will a nice new addition to my EDC.. Now to only
figure which CRK to move on next without braking the Bank...

That is just beautiful. :D I received the exact same knife from UPS today. Actually, I had ordered a Classic and received the 21. I'm waiting for a call back from the dealer to make sure it wasn't a mistake.

Enjoy your new knife. That micarta feels amazing and looks equally amazing.
 
To both of you - I think you'll really like the micarta. I never thought I'd own one, but I now have two. They not only look better in real life than on a web page, but they also handle very nicely. Enjoy and stay safe. :thumbup:
 
One thing I like about the micarta is the fact that the inlays cover the majority of the primary scale and most of the back, preventing the scratches that occur from normal use. Not to say that there is anything wrong with the scratches. They add character to the handles.

Do either of you also own a plain Large 21? I am debating on whether I should keep it now I have the micarta.
 
Yea I like it, I also have a Large Insingo with Micarta inlays, love them both....
but between the two, I really like the Insingo...
 
Nice one! Been too busy chasing down unique graphics, some day I need to buy a Micarta inlaid, it looks very nice!

I think my next one might be a unique graphics. I just have large versions of CRK knives at the moment: Umnumzaan, 21, 21 w/inlay. How are the small sized models? I typically remove the lanyard from the larger knives, but I think I would leave it on the small and keep it in my pocket instead of clipped.
 
^^I have not bought a small sebenza as of yet, but I am eyeing on right now,
you might want to ask Lisa or MVG....They have more experience with CRK's....

I had a Small Regular for a while but I decided I preferred the large. For whatever reason, the small was just too small for my hand and I found I like the large size better. I sold off the small and got an Umnumzaan (which I greatly prefer). If it helps, the small seems to be about the same size as the Benchmade 707 Sequel.

tactical0lll0hunter, nice collection. I'd really like to add a Snakewood to my collection. How do you like the wood inlays compared to the micarta?

Well the snake wood is the only one I have had the pleasure to own, but
it feel nice in hand, a bit smooth, but I have noticed that the two with
micarta that I have are a bit different also, one is a little gripper than
the other, the other is almost as smooth as the snake wood inlay...
But for everday carry I think that the micarta will not show as much
wear.
