New laser etching process?

Got my 3.5 today and I noticed that the logos are a bit faded and it's black. Not the typical laser engraving that I got in the past.
 
This is what Ellie had to say about it in another thread

"Those blades were done on a CO2 laser engraver because that is the only kind of laser engraver we could find at our new location. We knew it wasn't the same as what we used in the past but we had expected it to be tougher than it is. The GSO-4.1s that will be in stock were also done on the CO2 but at a slower speed so those look a bit darker. Still not ideal. Fortunately, thanks to you folks and the SURVIVE! Starter, Guy is literally at the bank right now to wire transfer funds for our own machine. Future engraving will be done in house, in the old "etched" style."
