New Lawman coming...for a bad reason

Well, I am glad to say that I have a new American Lawman on order. I hate to say that it was ordered because someone stole my Recon from my suitcase on a recent trip. I called the airline but they wouldn't even talk to me about it. Worst part about it is that it was a Christmas gift from my wife so it had sentimental value even though it was my EDC and abused. I liked it so much that I got my dad the same knife for Christmas as well. Let's hope that the Lawman is liked as much!
 
More than likely the knife was taken during a TSA search of the luggage. Bet that is why the airline will not respond. The Lawman is a good choice. Not flashy, but a solid knife none the less.
 
I have two reglawman knives...and the mini... Love em!

Though I must confess, I've been carrying my Code-4 much more lately. It's easier on my pockets too.
 
Sorry to hear this. Seems like we hear more and more stories like this, which is why I don't take any of my more expensive knives or knives with sentimental value with me when I travel by air. I've gotten to the place in life where I try to learn from the mistakes of others.
 
I'm always afraid the knife my lady gave me will be lost/stolen. . . I feel ya man
