Hey guys I just thought I show you my latest leather craft project.I guy I know asked me to make a sheath for much loved old mora. His is his most use knife but he hated the cheap plastic sheath.

I kind of wanted the sheath to look a bit sort of worn in as it is a new sheath for a old knife.I Use a corner of cow hide that had lots of nature dins and scrapes and used a "antique" leather finish. The guy I made this for just wears it round his neck so that's why it has the parcord attached to it.

As you can see the knife has been well used. The knife came to me with this yukky red paint on the handle!!!I sanded back the paint to the the bare birch which I think looks a bit more respectable.

That's a good looking sheath:thumbup:
I also like the Birch more than the painted handle.
Thanks for sharing.

Looks great. I think the yucky red is supposed to make it easier to spot if dropped in snow. I like the birch better too.

Thanks for the feedback guys.Beef(the chap I made this sheath for)Is getting him self a bark river knife,so I making him the nice sheath for that one..:D
