My second, third and fourth attempt at sheathmaking... I'm slowly making progress. After trying this myself, I realize that the guys who are really good at this (Leatherman, Progunner, et al) are truly artists. (BTW - The HH sheath is based on a 762shooter design - thx!)

The Game Warden sheath was the last one I did. I actually like it a lot though it's a shameless intellectual design theft from Levergunleather. :o

Beware HOGS!! The next time the trough opens I'm sending my daughter in... I'm quite sure she can slip past even the most seasoned HOG's!!

Looks like to me your doing a pretty good job making sheaths...
You just need more Practice..Buy more knives and make more sheaths.
Good job.

Thats how the Pros did it! Start small and pretty soon people will start asking you to makw them sheaths....good looking sheaths!

Sweet Bro! Leather and Lil' Cutie! My 4 year old saw the pic of your daughter and immediately wanted to go play with her.:D

Awesome! they look as good as any pro leather! there is nothing like using something you made with your own skill and time. You have serious artisan potential there, any time you decide to make some for sale I'm sure you'll be selling them here at BF faster than you think.

Great looking sheaths there Paddler! The picture of your daughter made my day - that is hilarious..........:D

OK now, I'm seeing improvement, nup, thats not good. ;) proceed directly to backtracking and stop learning so quick. :D

Great work btw, its a heck of a hobby! :)

Thanks for the encouragement, guys! I've got a long way to go before they look "pro" but I'm having fun. There's something about making a sheath yourself that makes it "dear to your heart."

Next time I'll get a shot of the three year old when he get muddy, too. They just love to wallow in the muck. They must get that from their Mother's side of the family... :D
