new leatherman juice s2?

Has anyone tried out the new leatherman juice s2? I want a medium sized multi tool with pliers for edc and the juice seems to be the right option. Any thoughts?

I had a Juice CS4 for about 30 minutes. I oredered it online and shipped it back for a refund. Was not a good tool at all IMO.

I have several multi-tools but had never owned a leatherman. The juice was my first one. I wish it hadn't been, because it may of been my last.

I know leatherman has to make some quality multi-tools. It has an excellent reputation, but the Juice line isn't one of them. I have seen cheap chineese knockoffs that were crafted better than the Juice I had.

If you want a leatherman I would suggest something other than the Juice from my experience. I would also suggest you check out a Victorinox Swisstool Spirit. I have several Gerber tools that are ok, I have never used them hard though but the seem decent enough.

Haven't gotten my hand on the current Juice but IMO, they went in the wrong direction making it bigger and heavier, instead of thinner and lighter.

The result of either FOR ME is that the Juice is too big for pocket carry. As soon as the tool is too big for pocket carry, FOR ME, it just makes more sense to go with a full sized MT like the Wave or a last or whatever.

For pocket carry, I just paid a Micra or Squirt with my EDC knife. Not as capable, but easier to carry.
