I don't know if you guys remember (or even saw), a while back I posted a video to a neat little style CS mod where someone replaced the scissors on a style CS with small pliers. Well it looks like Leatherman got the message because they've fast tracked a new product that is exactly his mod. I found it on their facebook. No price info yet. should be available in the fall apparently.

Definitely picking one of these up. Pair it with a Vic farmer and you've got a nice edc imo.

They're the same ones as found on the Squirt P4 and PS4, they might be small but they can be very useful. :)

I actually really like this change, would this make it TSA friendly?

I like it and I want one. The lack of blade may make it courtroom friendly. Those pliers are small and do not deliver the utility of big ones, but they can still be very useful for everything from light prying to picking up a hot pan on a campfire.

I believe the scissors would make it TSA UNfriendly... not totaly sure though. Cant wait for this to come out though. I am deffienatly picking one of these up as i think most of us on here would agree i dont really need another knife on me lol.

"Scissors - metal with pointed tips and blades shorter than four inches" are allowed for carry on, so it would seem that this tool would be legal.

I have the PS4 and I like it quite a bit. I like this model as well and I would be a fan if Leatherman came out with a full size model like it. I like the idea of bladeless SAKs and multitools. They seem like a niche market, but I believe the market is relatively large. There are some who do not need (or want a knife) for their day to day adventures. Others carry a different knife in addition to a multitool or SAK and the redundancy is not necessary.

Very cool! If there was room for a blade, this would be approaching mini-multi-tool perfection (for me).
