Hi,

On the John Primble website they show some very traditional, nice looking pocket knives.

I can't find any places that sell these. Does anybody know where I could purchase one of these models? I am mainly interested in the first one listed. It looks straight out of the classic era of pocket knives. If it is really made in USA and not stainless, it would be pretty close to being my dream knife.

Any help appreciated!

I'm pretty sure these were made for Blue Grass Cutlery, like the Winchesters, too
Blue Grass has a website
Some were made by Queen, others not

The pictures I linked are from Bluegrass Cutlery. I don't think they sell small amounts. If someone knows better please let me know!

When those knives first came out (1995) I searched for them like crazy, but no one has ever seemed to stock them. They randomly show up on Ebay.

You should contact Bluegrass, but they would most likely charge full retail to sell direct to you.

My understanding is that each of those Primbles was made in a limited one time run of 200 pieces per pattern/handle and that no more have been made Bluegrass still stocks knives from the original runs from 1995. That may be why no one stocks them - lack of supply and marketing from Bluegrass.

They were made by Queen (at least the bone and fancy plastic handled knives) and have stainless blades.
